Prasadam
Sri Rama commanded fallen Jadayu 'Le Pakshi' after the fight between Ravana and the bird. The place later called Lepakshi. It is located in Anathpur District in Andhra pradesh, India. It is around 120 km from Bangalore. Before telling the travel experience, let me tell you the route.

On Hyderabad Highway
Route to Lepakshi
Bangalore -> Hebbal-> Yelahanka -> Devanahalli -> Chikkabellapur -> Begapally ->(Take left near to RTO office) ->Lepakshi
On Hyderabad Highway
We started from Bangalore by around 5.30AM. We reached near Devanahalli when Sun showed the face. We met 3 more friends at Devanahalli. Road was pathetically bad from Chikkaballapur. From Chikkaballapur to Begapally, an unforgetable travel. We had breakfast at Begapally where we have to take left towards Lepakshi.

After the breakfast
throught out the way from Begapally to Lepakshi, we found green-white colored state buses.

brownish rose leaves
We found one tree with rose colored brownish leaves.

Pillars
Inside the temple premises, we were able to see lots of Pillars with and without roofs. All the pillars were telling different stories.
It was getting difficult to walk because of hot floors. We got some relief once we get into the main building. One of our friend recieved prasadam from Poojari of the temple.
From this photo, you can imagine, how hot it was.

Pots: getting ready for sale
we visited the tallest sculpture of Nandhi.
it was 2.00PM only. Where next?? that was our question. Finally decided to visit Sultanpet. Sultanpet is a small village in the downhill of Nandhi Hills. It was famous for the old cemetry and nearby pottery.

Making of a Pot
Even at 5.30PM, sun was shining like anything.
We were thinking that, the pottery will be closed in the evenings that too on a sunday evening. The workers at pottery didn t disappoint us. They started preparing clay-pots. All of us started clicking...
we spend some more time roaming around Sultanpet and started return to Bengalooru
